Common Services Centre (CSC) is one of the core ICT enabled initiatives of the Government of India (GoI) under its National E-Governance Plan (NeGP), which aims at setting up service booths in 100,000 villages across India. The program is being rolled-out across the country by respective state governments as Public-Private-Partnership Project (PPP). It is perceived as a ‘bottom-up model’ for delivery of services and information by public and private enterprises as a sustainable business model with the dual objective of revenue yielding as well as socio economic upliftment in rural areas. 

Vayam Technologies Limited is deploying this project across 30 districts of Uttar Pradesh, which collectively account for 6409 Common Service Centres, named Jan Seva Kendra, as part of the initiative of Department of Information Technology, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
